This is a small complex with the owner of this site occupying the apartment above this one.
It has two beautiful pools and a fantastic poolside bar. The apartment overlooks the large pool. There is a children’s play area as well as an area for basket ball, tennis and volleyball. There is a massage facility as well as a small exercise system.
If you just want to relax and be waited on, then this is the place for you. The owner of the poolside bar is KEN. He will prepare any meal for you in the evening or when ever. All food is freshly cooked and the fish is just fantastic. Much cheaper than anywhere else for fish! Typically, a meal for one excluding booze is about 15–20lira. That’s about £9 at today’s prices.
The apartment owners on this site are mostly English, Belgium and Turkish and this site feels like one big happy family. Moonlit parties around the pool in the evenings are really great fun and a chance to meet and talk to other holiday makers and apartment owners.
This complex is high up overlooking the villas below and out to the sea. There is a steep road leading to the complex. But you don’t have to walk it. I do, but treat it as a workout? If you cannot face the walk up, you can wait for the Dolmus or hire a Taxi
There is a free Dolmus to the local supermarket (Tansas) just down the hill and down to the main road. You can buy almost all the necessary items you need. There is a fantastic open market on a Thursday, just to the side of the supermarket. The fresh food here is better than anything in the UK and so cheap. Try the dried figs, nuts, cheeses. Marvellous!
Looking down at the main road, one way is to Akbuk harbour/tow, approximately 3 miles away. An easy and lovely walk to the many restaurants. The other way is to Altinkum, Didim and beyond.
